An entity that is ever-evolving should not be defined.
For those who insist, the following is a list of words, in no particular order:
Healing Facilitator, Writer, Reiki Master Teacher, Taoist, Yogi, Entrepreneur, Spiritualist, Businessman, Divemaster, Photographer, Painter, Musician, Ordained Minister, Podcaster, Blogger, Tree-Hugger, Medicine Man, Poet, Father, and, for the most part, a humble member of the human tribe.
In December 1964, the month of my birth, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Oslo; the original "Star Trek" pilot, "The Cage," was in production; Canada adopted the Maple Leaf flag (you probably didn't know they had a different flag before that – neither did I); the United States conducted a nuclear test in the Pacific Ocean; "The Pink Panther" cartoon series premiered; the Beatles' "I Feel Fine" reached No. 1 on the charts; comedian Lenny Bruce was convicted on obscenity charges; Levi Eshkol formed an Israeli government; "Goldfinger," the third James Bond film starring Sean Connery and Honor Blackman, premiered in London; Che Guevara addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York City; and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" first aired on television.
What does it all mean?
Hmm... Nothing. Really. Nothing that I can figure out.
It was simply another month near the end of a year in a man-made Gregorian calendar system. That same birth date, according to the Jewish calendar, was Tevet 15, 5725. According to the Chinese zodiac, I was born in the Year of the Wood Dragon.
Confused?
That is what often happens when we look for signs, omens, and hidden meanings. Which is why there may be no need to bother.
I was born, I live, and one day, hopefully later rather than sooner, I will pass on.
In the meantime, smiling seems to be good medicine.
That, and brushing my teeth.
