Photography

I love photography.
Back in the day, it was all about film. My first serious camera was a Canon AE-1.
For my fiftieth birthday, I bought myself a semi-professional Nikon.
I still have it, but with the quality that today's mobile phones can produce,
and given that my iPhone is always with me when I hike or take nature walks,
my Nikon hasn't seen the light of day in quite a while.

What I love about photography is that it trains the eye
to look for composition, interesting moments, colors,
and ways to make the ordinary appear special.
As I have accumulated thousands of photographs over the years, the images presented here are just a small selection.
