What is Qigong?
Qigong literally means Life Energy Cultivation. Drawing from Chinese medicine, philosophy and martial arts, Qigong is a holistic system, made of simple body postures, slow movements and breathing, that can be practiced by anyone at any age, for meditation, health and inner-balance.
What to expect?
We will be keeping the sessions to 45 min in length, starting with a slow warmup and then picking a few Qigong exercises at a time.
The Wednesday class is on temporary hold. It will be renewed but likely at a different time and location. Please email me if you want to be notified when this class is continued.
The classes at The Matthews House are discontinued at this time. Please email me if you wish to be notified once the class resumes, date/time and new location.

Comfortable clothing preferred, but you can also wear work attire (removing the jacket and tie will suffice) if you are on your way to work. No need for special shoes. You can practice with any shoes, sneakers, 5-toes, socks or bare feet.
